Nash's Checkup

Nash had his pre-surgery checkup done on Wednesday. Dr. Morales tightened the chain. Doc had a bit of a difficult time reattaching the chain and "aggravated" Nash a bit. He couldn't seem to get the chain reattached and had to poke and prod the area more than he would have liked. It was kind of difficult for Mom and Dad to watch but Nash is such a tough kid! Everything is well and we are still looking good for April 30th to have the lip repair. That is all the news for now. We'll try and update some photos as soon as we get some uploaded.

We wanted to wish Will, Lacey and Colby McKay the best this week as Colby goes in for surgery at PCMC. Good Luck you guys!!

Nash & Mom without Rees

Nash and Mom get to spend a little more time together this week because Rees decided she wanted to go to Denver with the Fowlers. Rees was a little concerned after the fact because she wasn't sure if the Easter Bunny was going to find her all the way in Denver. Don't worry...they woke up this morning and had to find all the eggs that had been left for her. Obviously the Easter Bunny has been to Denver! She is having a blast being a big girl, playing with Grandpa Jeff, and making cookies with Grandma Becky. (plus not having to deal with Mom and Dad all day)

Ashley has to stay around until Wednesday for Nash's checkup. Dr. Morales will check his chain tension and his overall progress. This will be the final checkup leading to his lip repair on the 30th of April.

Looks like Nash will be a ladies man ... what do you think???

The Cowgirl & Nash....

Rees has been such an awesome big sister! We think Nash really knows when she is around...and he can't stand her up in his business!! All she wants to do is LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him.

She and Dad have grown a lot closer over the last few months. (The only things that has really changed is she will now let Colby put her to bed at night which was a 100% Ashley job!!) Of course she is so loving that no matter what the circumstance, FAMILY IS #1! Its amazing what a 3-year old brings to the table. Here are some recent photos of the "cowgirl" with Dad in his shop:
NOTHING LIKE PRINCESS PJ'S WITH A COWBOY HAT TO DRIVE A MAN CRAZY!!

NASH'S SECOND SURGERY...

Nash went in for his post-surgery #1 check-up on Wednesday. He is doing AWESOME! Our 9.5 lbs baby boy didn't need his "chain" tightened because the gum line is coming together very well. Dr. Morales bumped up the surgery date and we will now be visiting PCMC on April 30th. This next surgery will be to repair the lip. Take advantage of these beautiful pictures because after this next surgery the cleft lip will be repaired and the superficial cleft will be forever changed:
